The OPTIQ also features vehicle-to-home (V2H) technology, which means homeowners can use their electric car as a source of power for their home during a blackout or power outage.

What's New for 2026?
For the 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ, the company has made some changes to the exterior of the OPTIQ-V trim with new exterior trim pieces and wheels, as well as new badging. A new option for a single-motor with rear-wheel drive is also available for the 2026 model, and the dual-motor all-wheel drive version is also more powerful with greater horsepower. The top-of-the-line OPTIQ-V has also been given more horsepower, as well as better brakes.
Real World Performance
The 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ features a single or dual electric motor, with each version working with a single-speed electric transmission. The single-motor OPTIQ reaches 315 horsepower and possesses 332 lb.-ft. of torque, and features rear-wheel drive. For the dual electric motor version, the OPTIQ reaches 440 horsepower and 498 lb.-ft. of torque with all-wheel drive. The OPTIQ is also offered in a performance version called the OPTIQ V with 519 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.

For the electric range, the rear-wheel-drive OPTIQ possesses an estimated range of 317 miles, while the all-wheel drive and OPTIQ-V trims get an estimated 303 miles of range. All OPTIQ vehicles feature an 85.0-kWh battery with the capability to fast charge up to 79 miles of range in just 10 minutes and 10 percent to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. The rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive OPTIQ are rated for 1,500 pounds of towing capacity, while cargo volume for all models is 26 cubic feet or 57 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
